Six weeks ago today Harper Corinne arrived in this world. Since then she has grown a ton and changed so much. She keeps getting longer and even has some yummy little rolls. She loves looking at us and if we set her down, she will turn her little head to watch us move about. She even cranes her neck to try to see where we are. Almost as captivating as her parents are lights, which she loves to stare at.
She smiles a ton and has laughed more than once at some of her mom's ridiculous made up songs (good thing she is getting a private viewing for the most part-sorry Scot). She sometimes does what Scot calls a Meyer smile, which is sort of crooked "I am up to something" grin and she also does a full fledged smile where her little gums are exposed and it is the cutest thing.
Harper has graduated to getting a real bath in an infant tub and she loves the water. She gets really quiet and just sits still as she gets warm water poured over her. Last night she only needed a shampoo so Scot held her head over the sink while I did the lather, rinse without a repeat...She was a little upset when we started, but by the end she was happy as a clam with the sensation of water running over her head.
She is sleeping between 3-5 hours at a time at night and for that we are thankful! The first month was a bit rough with no routine whatsoever, but she seems to have settled down and really just wakes up to eat and goes right back to sleep. She makes the cutest sounds as she drifts off and slowly wakes up from a deep sleep. And while Harper definitely makes it known when her expectations are not being met, overall she is a happy little camper, really only crying when she is tired or hungry. So, things seem to be settling down on the Meyer homefront over the past couple weeks!!
Enjoy the pictures. We took them earlier to document the six week birthday. She loves to play on her changing table, flailing her arms and legs about with an occasional squeal. I think it is her favorite place to hang out! More soon...

She has changed a lot! I love her little tuft of hair. She is just adorable. So glad you are documenting with pictures....you'll be so glad when she's older.
